Pre matric Scholarship for students of BC for 2013-14 for 9th,10th.

According to GO.22 Guidelines Students studying classes 9th and 10th and belonging to BC now can Apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship(New Scheme) for the year 2013-14.Applications are invited to sanctation Scholarship to those students Who are studying Government Schools of 9th and 10th std.Students should apply online at epass.cgg.gov.in.This GO was passed to increase the rate among Backward Classes children studying in Secondary Education for academic year 2013-14.Its aim is to provide educational facility to over 2.00 lac students.

Government of Andhra Pradesh have decided to sanction pre-matric
scholarship for students belonging to BC studying classes 9th and 10th.
The Scheme was included unde DIRECT BENIFIT TRANSFER SCHEME(DBT) and the commissioner,BC welfare has already submitted the Memorandum of Understanding to Government in Social Welfare Department with NACH facilities.

Guidelines for Pre-matric Scholarship

Objective

To increse the high decrease in the rate of BC
students going to school in Andhra Pradesh from clsses
9th and 10th.More over preference will be given to
girls students based on budget.

Eligibility

Students who are eligible under this scheme is
1.They must belong to Backward classes.
2.His/Her parents annual income must not exceed 44,500.
3.Must have an Aadhar Card.
4.He/She must be regular ,full time studying in Government
school or in any school that is run by Local bodies such as
Mandal Praja Parishad,Zilla Parishad,Municipalities that are
controlled by Government.

Other Guidelines

Bank Account

* Students should have an account that is linked with Aadhar Card
  with any Nationalised Banks.Minor students may have joint
  account along with their mother/father/guardian.
* Bank account is linked with Aadhar number of students to
  transfer Scholarship.This is done by the Manager of Bank in
  presence of student provided with Aadhar number.

Duration and Renewal

This sacholarship will be scanctioned for 10 months in an academic year.
Student once applied can renew his status ,provided he/his
must be regular to school with good academics.

Procedure

Students shall apply online at http://epass.cgg.gov.in and click
Pre-matric Scholarship for registration.Following details are to be filled.
* Student details with Name , Address of Schhol.
* Parent details with address.
* Aadhar linked Bank account Number with IFSC code,Bank name and  
  branch.
* Income certificate issued by Mee-Seva for present year and
  Caste certificate are to be scanned and uploaded.
* Scan and upload Aadhar card along with UID number
* Scan 1st page bank passbook along with photo and
  upload.
* scan passport size photo and upload.
* Download the Application and Acknowledge forms.

~ Students after downloading the application
  should attach all the files that are uploaded and submitted to
  the Head Master of School.
~ Student applying for Pre-matric scholarship is
  not eligible for any other scholarships from state/central
  government.
~ The head master should forward all the applications to local
  Warden of BC welfare Department.
~ The Welfare oficer of the respective schools will
  Verify the details of all the applications received under the
  scheme.
~ Hostel Welfare Officer will verify the students by
  authenticationg the  finger print of student with UID online.       
  For this student are assessed for "Best Finger Detection"
  and compared with the fingerprint of the BFD online with Aadhar
  Network.
~ Applications of students who have been authenticated online
  will be processed further.So students must check before
  entering UID number.
~ The Deputy Director/BC welfare Officer sanctation only for
  those whose online Authentication is done online and money will
  be credited in the Students Accounts.

The Commissioner of BC welfare ,AP,Hyderabad ensures adequate steps :

~ Find all authorized schools/hostels to Hostel welfare officers.
~ Give training to headmaster/Hostel Welfare Officer and ABCWOs
  on online system.
~ Ensure that all the process of online Authentication with UId
  and Physical verification.

* This scheme is totally administered only online and operated by
  Central government.
* "Micro ATM" operated by Business Correspondents of Banks allows
  the payment of the scheme through Aadhar authentication .
* Student can withdraw amount through Micro ATM by online finger
  print authentication with UID.
  They can also download through the ATM card if available.            
* The expenditure will be debited to the following      
  head of accounts:
  2225-Welfare of SCs,STs and OBCs
  03-Welfare of BCs.
